CampusMitr - User Friendly IITH Assistant
Undergraduate Research Project
- Integrating AI for campus navigation and comprehensive information retrieval
- Applying state-of-the-art Computer Vision and NLP models for accurate recognition and information extraction
- Developing a user-friendly interface for the application
SemAnte - Semantic Attention Metric to Detect Hallucinations
- Formulated a metric to utilize cross attention distributions to quantify semantic hallucinations
- Designed the metric to calculate argmax of cross attention scores and cosine similarity of word embeddings and evaluated using attention maps and embeddings from BERT to capture relationships beyond surface level n-grams
Advancing Ante Hoc Explainable Models through Generative Adversarial Networks
- Presents a concept learning framework enhancing model interpretability in an ante-hoc manner
- Addresses black-box reputation of DNNs and improves performance in image classification tasks
Building a Winning Team: Selecting Source Model Ensembles using a Submodular Transferability Estimation Approach
- To estimate the transferability of an ensemble of models to a downstream task.
- Solves the complementary information between source models, that impact the performance and variance of the ensemble
GrowSimplee’s Route Planning for Optimized On-Time Delivery
- Delivery Route Optimization Task based on Package characteristics and delivery points
- Implemented a DNN in conjunction with a weight sensor to determine the dimensions of object from image
Nabla - Domain Specific Language for Tensor Operations
- Language designed to teach the user the mathematical essence behind computation graphs
- Designed from scratch using Flex and Bison
DSpace IIT Hyderabad
- DSpace Publication Management System for IIT Hyderabad Library
- Redesigned the DSpace software specific to the needs of the Institute
Bosch’s Age And Gender Detection
- Detect Age and Gender of People from CCTV camera footage
- Used multiple open source models and VGG19 derivative model to give results with good accuracy
Convex Optimization
- Implemented Support Vector Machines (Vladimir Vapnik) from scratch and applied for spam classification of emails
- Implemented using CVXPY and Python
